INFORMATION

COMMON SENSE IN CITY FESTIVALS

When coming to the festival area, using public transportation (the night busses are running every night of the DBTL weekend), bicycles or coming by foot is advisable. Bicycles cannot enter the actual festival area. Changes in traffic arrangements will be informed about later with separate announcements. Bringing glass bottles and other glass-made items, intoxicants, explosives and other dangerous substances to the festival area and near it, is strictly forbidden.

WASTE DISPOSAL

The river shore of Aurajoki is a unique stage for a festival. We hope the festival guests respect the beautiful scenery and take the waste to trash cans. There are a lot of toilets, urinals, trash cans and bio waste containers in the area. All illicit distribution of advertisements, samples etc in the festival area and near it, is strictly forbidden under a threat of penalty.

FIRST AID

First aid point is beside Virastotalo (check the map). There are also first aid patrols and a boat patrol patrolling the festival area.

TICKETS AND ENTERING THE AREA

The festival area can only be entered with a wristband. The presale tickets are changed into a wristband at the ticket selling points near the gates or in DBTL shop (Aurakatu 2, Turku). Be sure to enter the area early enough. Otherwise you might miss the performers you came to see, because of long lines. You will not be allowed to enter if the wristband is broken. Take care of the wristband and check that it is properly attached when you receive it. The organizer is not responsible for lost wristbands.

The wristbands are checked at the gate, every time you enter. You can exit and re-enter the festival area when you want. Re- entering is possible with the condition that there is room - "reserving" a place is impossible. The after clubs have different policies, ask for more information from the ticket seller.

One and two day tickets cannot be changed into wristbands before the day they entitle for. Jokiranta-passes that allow you to enter the area of the main stage and the festival area from Wednesday to Saturday can be changed into wristbands on Tuesday 28th July at the earliest.

FOOD & DRINK

There are plenty of bars, restaurants and food sellers in the festival area. Bringing alcohol and all kind of glass bottles to the festival area is forbidden.
